babEvac cot

CAN YOU GET YOUR BABIES OUT?

IDEALLY HOSPITALS WOULD HAVE SMOKE PROTECTED LIFTS, AND EVACUATION FROM MATERNITY AND SPECIAL CARE BABY UNITS WOULD BE NO PROBLEM.

Unfortunately life is not that simple...

Incubators and cots are cumbersome to transport and almost impossible to carry down stairs.

Normal practice has been to remove the babies by hand - leaving them vulnerable, or hope that an evacuation down stairs will not become necessary.

THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE:

THE BUSCOT BABE
VAC COT.

  • Designed for the easy and safe EVACUATION of PREMATURE and new born babies in the event of FIRE or EMERGENCY.

  • The Buscot BABEVAC cot can carry up to three babies, depending on size and condition.

  • A secure storage compartment for a small OXYGEN CYLINDER on the underside of the cot to allow manual ventilation if required. (Cylinder not included)

  • Adjustable shoulder straps to enable the cot to be carried by one or two persons.

  • Strong flexible construction allows for easy handling with adequate support and protection of babies.
