On site training for fire marshals & fire wardens

Duration: 1 day

This course is intended to provide fire wardens & fire marshals with a more advanced insight into the dangers of fire and the likely responses of staff. Course notes and attendance certificates are provided.

Syllabus:

 Understanding fire The mechanism of fire, how fire kills and how to protect against it

 Human behaviour in fire Illustrates how people react to fire and the problems to be aware of

 Fire Routines

 The role of the fire warden / marshal Duties & Limitations

 Classes of fire & fire extinguishers

 Practical fire-fighting Use of fire extinguishers/hose reels on real fires
