Fire Safety in Holiday Parks

This training programme provides an overview of the issues to be considered when maintaining fire safety on holiday parks and caravan sites. It is divided into two main modules:

Module 1 - Fire Safety Induction (26mins):
Outlines why fire safety is important in the holiday park environment. Divided into 5 chapters which can be viewed individually or together, it covers everything that staff need to know about fire safety including:

• Introduction;

• Fire hazards;

• Fire protection;

• Fire extinguishers; and

• Fire evacuation.

Module 2 - Management responsibilities (11mins):
Covers: management duties under the law providing an overview of regular checks and training responsibilities.

This module is arranged in four chapters:

• Monitoring and maintenance;

• Fire evacuation and training;

• Caravan fires;

• Testing alarms and emergency lighting.
