Fire Safety in Places of Public Assembly
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire
Safety) Order 2005, owners and managers Places of Public Assembly (PPA)
where people meet and gather cannot continue to deal with the issue of
fire safety in the way they have in the past. not only staff, but also
customers, visitors and anyone else involved.
With small numbers of staff, many
owners of PPA cannot afford for staff to take the time out
to be trained in fire safety in the traditional way, or bring in
expensive consultants.
This high-quality comprehensive fire
safety training and risk assessment package gives you the solution. The
package comprises two discs:
-
an interactive CD-ROM, containing
authoritative guidance and staff training on the law and good practice
via PowerPoint slide shows and a variety of documents including a
pre-assessment checklist, a fire risk assessment form and fire safety
logbook. There are weblinks to internet sites, such as the Fire and
Rescue Service, Communities and Local Government and the Disability
Rights Commission, for up to date information and guidance,
-
a DVD which contains a thought
provoking film giving important information explaining the impact that
the law has on owners and managers of PPA and how it can be complied
with.
PPA owners and managers will be able
to find all the information needed to make their premises safe, but can
use the DVD to train their staff without the need for a computer, thus
ensuring that even short-term, temporary staff can be trained.
Format: two-disc set: CD ROM and DVD
