ski pad training courses
On site Ski Pad training courses are available in most parts of the UK.
Training sessions last approximately one hour and cover:

Description and limitations of the Ski Pad;
-
methods of transfer from bed, floor and wheelchair;
-
securing evacuees onto the Ski Pad;
-
manoeuvring the Ski Pad along escape routes;
-
manoeuvring the Ski Pad downstairs;
-
maintenance of the Ski Pad;
-
storage of the Ski Pad after use.
Certificates are awarded to candidates who to take an active
part in the training.
Up to 10 candidates per course, and up to 5 courses per day
available.
